Worms Crazy Golf iOS On Sale for $0.99

The iOS version of Worms Crazy Golf is currently price slashed to a bargain 99 cents. The game is a mixture of classic 2D Worms and minature golf featuring some bizarre power-ups.

Worms Crazy Golf features many levels and objects from the Worms universe such as the sheep, old woman, mole, magnets, mines and crazy chain reactions making an appearance. The game has three surreal 18-hole golf courses (four in the iPad version), with a diverse range of skill-based challenge modes as well. Each level has increasingly puzzling hole design and an array of obstacles; from castles that teleport your ball, cannons that shoot it across the landscape and even obstructive comedy bats. The game requires skillful shot execution and clever use of special powers such as the parachute ball, or the ability to slow time down will see you hit par and progress to the next hole. On the iPhone version, the fourth course (‘The Carnival Course’) is available as an In-App purchase.

The game can be purchased on the iTunes Store or directly from here.

Team 17 has posted the first gameplay trailer of their recently announced Worms spinoff game, Worms Crazy Golf.

The concept is a brilliant one – use the Worms tactical strategy model and apply it to miniature golf. Get the ball to the flag area in as few shots as possible, while getting bonuses for the ball touching gold coins and bonking enemies and opposing golfers.

Check out the gameplay trailer in the video below. Worms Crazy Golf will be coming out on PC and PlayStation 3 later this year.

Hockey Dash Enters Open Beta

OGPlanet announced Hockey Dash has entered open beta. Hockey Dash is a free to play online game that is a combination between street hockey and ice hockey. The strategy is taken from ice hockey, while the fast pace action is taken from street hockey.

Players attempt to score on their opponents by finding the weakness in their defense and getting the puck into the goal. It is easier to say than do, though, considering the game uses street hockey physics. Players have to master the movement of street hockey to be able to score on their opponents. Hockey Dash has simplified the rules of hockey so anyone can jump into the game and have fun while playing.

“OGPlanet has found success with gameplay styles that most companies don’t think are suited to online play, like Rumble Fighter,” said Sangchul Park, CEO of OGPlanet. “We think we’ve got another winner with Hockey Dash. Its fast pace and unique game mechanics make for a very high-energy, fun multiplayer experience.”

If you like hockey style sports games, check out Hockey Dash.

Just in time for that scary time of year, Mumbo Jumbo has announced Zombie Bowl-o-Rama. The zombies have taken over the bowling lane and they must be stopped. Never knew zombies were into bowling, but these zombies are and they are not going to give up their establishment easily. Of course the zombies are in the bowling lanes in search of brains.zombie-bowl-o-rama

Players have to bowl the zombies down with bowling balls. There are ten different bowling balls to choose from and one zombie head. Players select a ball and use it in six different lanes to combat the zombies and work their way up to the final show down. Sticking with the Halloween theme, there are tricks and treats at the players disposal to help them send the zombies back to where they came. Players have a few different tricks at their disposal, such as Werewolves, MiniCorpses and Dance Fever. The treats are ZombieNator, Meatball, ZomBees and Brain Balls.

Zombie Bowl-o-Rama is a bit different than normal bowling. Besides the obvious, players are bowling down zombies and not pins, the zombies will advance down the lane if they are missed on the first hit. Players have to be fast and accurate.

If you are into bowling games and want to keep with the Halloween/spooky theme, check out Zombie Bowl-o-Rama.
