Legend of the Fish of Fury is a fighting style game starring fish. Players get to pick a fish they would like to use. The fish have different strengths and weaknesses. Some fish are strong and slow and others are fast, but not quite as strong. Players can decide what play style they like to use.

Once the fish is picked, the player can choose where they would like to battle. There are four different battlegrounds to choose from. The battlegrounds do not effect the battle in any way. They just change the background of where the fish are doing battle.

After choosing the fish to use and the battleground to compete in, it is time to fight. There are different ways to fight depending on the mode that was chosen at the beginning of the game. The Arcade mode is the mode where players will fight opponent after opponent until they defeat to the last guy. The opponents get tougher as you progress through arcade mode. Players battle by using the touch mechanics of the iPhone. Tapping the screen will cause the fish to punch their opponent. Sliding a finger across the screen will cause the fish to kick their opponent. Sliding your finger down the screen will cause the fish to block their opponent.

Legend of the Fish of Fury is a fun and entertaining fighting game. Players have to like fighting style games to enjoy the game. The game is a bit different than other fighting games in the use of fish fighting each other. If you like fighting style games for the iPhone/iPod Touch, you can’t go wrong with Legend of the Fish of Fury.

GemStone Challenge is a columns matching game for the iPhone. The player has to match three or more of the same gem to clear the gems off the board. The trick to matching the gems is the gems fall in a column of three gems. You need to fit the column into the already dropped gems so that the gems make a match and are cleared from the board. The gems continue to fall until the player can make no more matches and the board is full.

The game is played using the touch mechanics of the iPhone. Players use their finger to move the gem columns from side to side to get them to fall in the correct spot. There are 2 game modes, single player or two player. Two player mode allows two players to play against each other using blue tooth or Apple’s Game Center.

If GemStone Challenge sounds like a fun game, you can get it from the Apple App Store.
