There are days when you’re looking for a simple yet challenging iphone/ipod touch mobile game to pass the time. This one is probably going to target men more than women, but the challenge is fun no matter what your gender. Hooters Calendar Slider, by Busted Thumbs, takes tile puzzles to a whole new level: Hooters Girls. With three levels of difficulty, you’ll be given the chance to ramp up your sliding puzzle skills with a game title that fits the “touch” medium with fluent perfection. As a kid, many of us cheated by pulling out the puzzle pieces from the board and sticking them in so that the picture was complete, no such luck with game software in today’s world! Put Hooters Calendar Slider on hard and you’ve got hours of entertainment with a rewarding goal during completion: seeing Hooters girls.
The replay value in a tile puzzle game is huge, especially when a title like Hooters Calendar Slider provides 60 unique puzzles to complete. If you get stuck, shake the ipod/iphone to mix up the puzzle and try a different technique. This feature may come in handy if you’re like us and have a really hard time with tile puzzle sliders like this game. Thankfully the ipod touch and iphone allow gamers to switch applications and save your state so we can take our time completing the puzzles. We had enough difficulty with the easy stage using 3 x 3 tile puzzles. However, you can try medium for 4 x 4 puzzles or hard for a nice long 5 x 5 puzzle layout. Hooters Calendar Slider definitely caters to the male demographic as the goal is to complete bikini clad Hooters girls, but everyone will find it challenging. All the women have clothing so you won’t have to hide the game title from a younger audience and the challenging stages allow you to spend hours playing.
Hooters Calendar Sliders is available on iTunes for the price of $1.99 — a good value. The graphics are crisp and clear, the game interface is smooth and natural and the 60 puzzles provide plenty of variation.
For the ladies, Hooter Calendear Sliders would be a great Valentine’s Day gift for your significant other at a nice price!
