Barbie as The Island Princess is a new game that follows the story line of the recently released DVD. Players take on the role of Rosella, the shipwrecked princess, as she travels through the island to reach Prince Antonio and attempt to win his love. Players travel across the island by playing mini games.

What are your thoughts about the next Mario Kart title for the Nintendo Wii? I’m nervous because I’ve never used a Wii steering wheel before and it’s going to be much different than a standard control pad for interaction.

I want to like it and I hope I can stick with it until it feels like a natural form of gameplay. Steering wheels are supposed to provide a smoother driving experience rather than flicking the control-stick to stay on the road on turns and curves.

The graphics are no par with what I’d expect, the neat flips look new and interesting. Hopefully it lives up to the Kart title we have all come to expect from the Nintendo brand.

I’m not so sure about that one-second delay between the gamer reacting and their play reacting, but that might be an optimization issue. Let’s hope!

I thought this was pretty funny. Totally a movie that would never be made because casual games just don’t make great movies. But funny non-the-less. It’s never the first one!

Unfortunately it doesn’t give a whole lot of insight into the game, but it is kinda neat. I’m curious to see how Mario and his B-Speed can compete against the non-frame-dropping Sonic the Hedgehog who traditionally existed as the fastest toon on the video game segment.

But, Mario may win a the long jump
