Alawar has announced the release of Farm Frenzy: Gone Fishing for the PC. The goal of the game is to raise exotic fish and manufactures never-before-seen products. Players get to take on a different role and instead of raising farm animals and making products produced from farm animals, players are raising fish. The game is a time management style game.

Players take on the role of Scarlett that has been given an island farm in recognition of her hard work. The farm has a huge pond in the middle of the land. Scarlett decides to make the most of the pond and starts raising fish and making goods to export. Everything is going good until Scarlett makes a discovery that turns her world upside down.

The game contains six new animals, 90 new levels, new products, new buildings and an all new Endless Mode.

“Farm Frenzy: Gone Fishing is sure to please fans angling for something exciting and new,” says Kirill Plotnikov, vice president of publishing at Alawar.  “We think players are going to love the tropical island setting and get a kick out of the sea horses, dolphins and sharks, which our animators have brought to colorful and vivid life.”

Supermarket Mania HD Review

Supermarket Mania HD is a time management game for the iPad. The game is a bit different from most time management games. Instead of making or delivering food to customers to keep them happy, Nikki, the main character, has to keep the store shelves stock. She works in a grocery store and needs to make her grocery store better than the big chain grocery store that replaced her with a robot.

Nikki now works at the grocery store down the street. The store was going to shut down, but Nikki is trying to save the grocery store with the players help. Each day starts out with shelves that need to be stocked. The stocking cart can stock four shelves before it is empty. Players have to balance keeping the shelves full and keeping the customers happy. If the customer wants something on an empty shelf, they get a green face above their head. The player needs to stock the shelf before that face turns red and the customer leaves.

The goals of the game are similar to most time management games, make the allotted amount of money and pass the level. A few levels get tricky and require the player to make an allotted amount of money and scare three thieves away or other tasks like that. There are thieves that will show up or screaming kids running around the store that need to be handled. Players deal with these issues by click on the security guard in the store. The thieves must be stopped or they will steal groceries from the store. The thieves make things more difficult because while they are stealing items they are taking the items off the shelf leaving less items for customers to buy.

The controls for the game are easy, everything is touch based. Players touch shelves to stock them and touch the supply room to fill the cart. Players even touch the security guard to get him to do his job. The touch controls are accurate and respond as you would expect. There was never a time the shelf didn’t get filled or garbage didn’t get cleaned up.

The graphics in the game are really nice looking, which is not surprising since the game is for the iPad. All the graphics are clear and crisp and the items that need to be clicked on are big enough to easily click and not get something else by mistake.

Over all Supermarket Mania HD is a fun and entertaining game. Each level brings different obstacles to conquer. Each time the player figures out one obstacle the game throws a different one at them, which keeps the game from getting too monotonous. The goals usually stay the same, but there is always something challenging standing in the way of the goal. The challenge keeps the game interesting and players wanting to play the next level. If you like time management style games, you can’t go wrong with Supermarket Mania HD.

PlayFirst has announced the upcoming release of Wedding Dash 4 – Ever. As you may have guessed, Wedding Dash 4-Ever is the fourth game in the series and challenges players to tackle more wedding details and manage more “difficult” guests. Players will have the opportunity to play more mini-games and search for collectibles, as well.

Quinn is back and players have to help her plan some interesting weddings, but that is not the hard part. One major stumbling block is the fact that Quinn’s mother is in town to help Quinn plan her own wedding. The one big problem with that is Quinn never told her mother that the wedding is off. As mothers will do, Lynn, Quinn’s mother, insists on helping Quinn in her wedding planning business, but makes things worse along the way.

Quinn is more involved in all aspects of the wedding in Wedding Dash 4-Ever. Players will tackle reception festivities, lead the wedding ceremony, guide conga lines, and accommodate special requests including taking pictures and overseeing the newlywed kiss – all while striving to avert any outrageous wedding disasters.

Success Story HD Review

Success Story HD is a fast paced time management game for the iPad. The goal is to build the customer’s orders for them. The difference between this time management game and other time management games is the ingredients pop up and disappear after a few seconds. Players have to click the ingredients before they disappear. The ingredients will reappear in another area, but if you don’t pay attention you could click on the wrong ingredient and waste time.

The other feature that sets Success Story HD apart from other time management games, is that once the customer’s order is fulfilled they may order desert and the desert order can be just as big as the original order. The desert order does not need to be built, though, the player can just tap on the desert and it will land on the tray.

Players build the customer’s order by tapping on the ingredients. The customer will have a bubble over their head and the bubble will contain their order. Players build the customer’s order by tapping the ingredients, but if they wait too long, the ingredients will disappear into the hole they came from and pop up in a different hole.

The orders start out simple and get more and more complicate as the game progresses. Some of the sandwiches need to be looked at well before building the order. Some have multiple ingredients and on a quick look one of the ingredients can be over looked. If the sandwich is built wrong, the player can simply click the wrong ingredient to take it off the sandwich.

The graphics in Success Story HD are very crisp and clear. There are different settings, and each setting is a nice background and has different ingredients. All of the ingredients are clear and two ingredients don’t look similar so players aren’t confused.

Over all, Success Story HD is entertaining and fun. The game keeps you coming back for more. The levels can be played quickly, but the game offers enough levels and challenge that the player doesn’t feel ripped off. Players get their money worth in Success Story HD. If you are looking for a time management game that stands out from the rest, check out Success Story HD in the Apple App Store.
