Finger Arts has announced the release of Sudoku 2 Pro for the iPhone/iPod Touch. Sudoku 2 Pro is just like the free version, but contains no adds and a few more features. Players will be able to upgrade the look of the Sudoku board and hide the timer, as well as a Flash mode where players can play a Sudoku board quickly. The board is easy and the challenge is to complete it as quick as possible.

In celebration of the new release, players can pick up the game for just $1.99, but the sale is for a very short time and come Monday June 7th the sale will end and the game will be full price.

Sudoku Pro 2 allows players to choose how challenging the game play by selecting different play modes. The game contains the OpenFeint system that allows players to post their high scores to a leader board and compare achievements with their friends. The score is determined by an algorithm that multiplies points by the number matched and takes into account the time it takes to place the number. In other words, the quicker you solve the puzzle the more points you score.
