Wizard Ops Coming to iOS

Phyken Media has announced the upcoming release of Wizard Ops for the iPhone/iPod Touch. There are four wizards that protect a vast kingdom. Each wizard has the ability to control one of the four elements. The wizards together protect the kingdom until they are strained by years of war. Finally, there was a glorious wedding and a little relief from the war, until the Queen was killed by magic. The King flipped out and banned all magic from the kingdom and imprisoned the four wizards.

The wizard protectors were gone from the kingdom, which allowed a mad scientist to gain control of the kingdom. The mad scientist has kidnapped the princess and now the King has to get her back. The King quickly realizes the only way to save his daughter is to free the four wizards he imprisoned. Players have to free the fire wizard and reunite the Wizard Ops team. Players can choose from 15 different weapons to fight their way through the kingdom to release the fire wizard.

Sky Force Free For A Limited Time

Infinite Dreams has reduced the price of their iPhone App, Sky Force, to free for a limited time. Infinite Dreams wanted to gain Facebook fans. They decided to use their iPhone App as a way to entice people to follow them on Facebook. It worked and Sky Force will be free for forty eight hours. The sale starts July 12 and goes through July 14th.

Sky Force is an arcade shooter that combines 2D and 3D graphics. Players can choose from three different ships. The ships will shoot their way to victory. The goal is to save planet earth and on the way amass power ups and other useful items.

Bounty Hounds Closed Beta

InnoGames has announced that Bounty Hounds Online (BHO), an online Science Fiction (Sci-Fi) MMO, has entered closed beta. Players can win a chance to be part of the closed beta by opening an account on the Bounty Hounds homepage. The account can be used for the open beta, as well as when the game is released to the public. Players will not have to open another account when the game launches.

BHO is set in the future in the 25th century. Man has encountered Extraterrestrial Intelligence, but it has lead to a galactic war. The Federal Government was formed and put a cease to the war and reduced the military. The peace time is just a facade and the government has hired private military groups to wage the war. These mercenaries, also known as Bounty Hounds, have gone out of control. Players are part of the private military. They need to fight for mankind.

Chromanoids

Hothead Games has announced the release of Chromanoids for iOS devices. The game is an arcade space shooter where players have shoot the oncoming space ships with the same color bullets. For instance, if the ship is red it needs to be shot with a red bullet.

There are color squares at the bottom of the screen. The player can touch the color to change the color of the bullets. The game can get hectic when there are a lot of ships coming at the player. Players can earn power ups to help them out in sticky situations. The power ups can shoot multiple color bullets at the same time, which is nice to clear a lot of oncoming ships.

The game has five different game modes making it easy to find a mode that fits any play style.

Invincible Demon

Infinibee Entertainment Ltd has announced the release of Invincible Demon for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The game is a top down shooter.

Players can choose one of three characters. Invincible Demon has eighteen different levels to challenge the players. The players need to shoot the attacking demons. There are levels that players have to stop the attacking demons and protect their home base by any means possible, including absorbing fireballs. The player controls their character through the use of two joysticks.

The developers have to the game are running a contest. Players have the chance to win up to $10,000. Players don’t have to beat the game to be entered in the contest. Players just need to sign up on the Facebook page or follow the developers on Twitter.
