Mahjong Artifacts HD is a Mahjong game for the iPad. Players have to match the tiles to clear them off the board. The goal is to uncover the hidden artifacts. Pieces of the artifacts have been spread across the world. Each place has a piece of the artifact and the player has to solve the mahjong puzzle to uncover the artifact piece.

The story is interesting and is weaved through out the different mahjong boards. Each time the player solves a mahjong puzzle there is a comic that appears and tells the story. Each new area brings another mahjong puzzle to solve.

The puzzles are not too difficult and there are plenty of features to help the players along the way. If there is a move that the player is just not seeing, they can click the hint button and the move will be revealed. There is an undo button to take back a move the user did not want to make. The layouts of the boards make for interesting game play and it is not the same board over and over again. There is a tutorial in the beginning of the game to explain how to play the game and all of the different features available to the player.

The graphics in the game are really nice looking and contain scenery from all over the world. Each place that holds the artifact is a different background for the mahjong boards.

Over all, Mahjong Artifacts HD is a fun and entertaining game. Players can solve different types of Mahjong puzzles and pass the time. The story line is interesting and keeps the player coming back for more. The levels can be played in a short amount of time, which makes the game a good way to pass a few minutes or pass the time while waiting for something. If you like Mahjong games, you can’t go wrong with Mahjong Artifacts HD.

Mahjong Artifacts: Chapter 2 HD Review

Mahjong Artifacts: Chapter 2 HD is an amazing looking mahjong game that eases players into the game of mahjong. Mahjong Artifacts: Chapter 2 HD is for the iPad. Mahjong is a matching game where players need to match tiles with the same pictures on them. There is a puzzle aspect to Mahjong, as well. There are times where more than one tile can be matched and players have to decide which is the best match to make. Once the matches are made the tiles disappear and reveal the tiles that are under them or next to them. Tiles can not be matched until they are only touched on one side by another tile or totally fee of tiles.

Mahjong Artifacts: Chapter 2 HD wraps a story around the mahjong game. The story takes players through Japan, India and other great places. The main character is looking for Marc and finds herself traveling through all these places trying to track him down. Each place brings another few levels of mahjong puzzles to solve. Each level gets harder as it progresses, but as the player is solving the puzzles there are tiles with pearls on them. Matching a tile with a pearl on it will collect the pearl in a container. The pearls can then be used for power-ups such as undoing the last turn, mixing up the board when there are no more matches left or even getting hints when you can’t find the match on the board.

The graphics in the game are stunning. The iPad has a fantastic screen and the game takes full advantage of the screen. The iPad screen is much bigger, as well, making the mahjong boards large enough to see the tiles clearly. The pictures are clear and easy to tell what they are and which ones match. In some mahjong games it can be hard to tell which tiles match, but that is not the case.

Over all, Mahjong Artifacts: Chapter 2 HD is a fun and entertaining game. The progression of the mahjong puzzles is a good pace. The addition of the power ups and pearls is a nice feature of the game. If you enjoy playing mahjong games, you can not go wrong with Mahjong Artifacts: Chapter 2 HD for the iPad. Check it out in the Apple App Store. There is a trial version available for players that may not know whether they enjoy mahjong.
