Avanquest Software has announced the upcoming release of Junior Brain Trainer 2 for the Nintendo DS. The brain games are designed to help young learners improve memory, spelling, reading, logic and problem solving skills. The game is aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 11 years old. They can learn while having fun, which is always the best way to learn.

The activities in Junior Brain Trainer 2 are designed to help support the skills children learn in the classroom. There are two different game play modes that players can choose from. The levels are based on the age and the academic level of the child. Progressive mode is intended for younger players to start out easy and work their way up to the harder skills. Pot Luck mode is for older children that are comfortable with all of the skills. The questions are randomly generated.

Junior Brain Trainer 2 offers games such as Greedy Frog where players must help the frog catch 10 dragonflies by jumping over lily pads before they sink into the pond, Find the Kennel where players have to guide a puppy through a maze and back to its kennel before time runs out or Catch the Sheep where players have to round the sheep up and get them back in their pen.

Junior Brain Trainer 2 is set to be released on Sept 17th.
