Gamenauts and Menara Games have announced the upcoming release of Ninja Fishing for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Ninja Fishing combines the ancient art of fishing and sword play. Players will need to use the touch and tilt features of their iOS device.

Players take on the role of Otoro, a slightly out of shape ninja with a goal to catch as much sushi as possible. Players have to tilt the device to maneuver the fishing line around underwater mines and get the fishing line as deep as possible. The deeper the line drops the easier it will be to hook fish. Once the fish is hooked, players have to tilt the device again to get the fish to the surface. After the fish has been pulled to the surface, Otoro throws the fish into the air and the player has to slice the sushi. Players have to be quick to slice the sushi, but not get caught by the bombs. Players earn money from catching fish. The more rare the fish the more money the player will earn. Players can use the money to upgrade their fishing equipment.

If Ninja Fishing sounds like an interesting game, head over to the Apple App store on August 4th and pick yourself up a copy.
