Legend of the Fish of Fury is a fighting style game starring fish. Players get to pick a fish they would like to use. The fish have different strengths and weaknesses. Some fish are strong and slow and others are fast, but not quite as strong. Players can decide what play style they like to use.

Once the fish is picked, the player can choose where they would like to battle. There are four different battlegrounds to choose from. The battlegrounds do not effect the battle in any way. They just change the background of where the fish are doing battle.

After choosing the fish to use and the battleground to compete in, it is time to fight. There are different ways to fight depending on the mode that was chosen at the beginning of the game. The Arcade mode is the mode where players will fight opponent after opponent until they defeat to the last guy. The opponents get tougher as you progress through arcade mode. Players battle by using the touch mechanics of the iPhone. Tapping the screen will cause the fish to punch their opponent. Sliding a finger across the screen will cause the fish to kick their opponent. Sliding your finger down the screen will cause the fish to block their opponent.

Legend of the Fish of Fury is a fun and entertaining fighting game. Players have to like fighting style games to enjoy the game. The game is a bit different than other fighting games in the use of fish fighting each other. If you like fighting style games for the iPhone/iPod Touch, you can’t go wrong with Legend of the Fish of Fury.

Players will need to use the touch and tilt features of their iOS device.

Players take on the role of Otoro, a slightly out of shape ninja with a goal to catch as much sushi as possible. Players have to tilt the device to maneuver the fishing line around underwater mines and get the fishing line as deep as possible. The deeper the line drops the easier it will be to hook fish. Once the fish is hooked, players have to tilt the device again to get the fish to the surface. After the fish has been pulled to the surface, Otoro throws the fish into the air and the player has to slice the sushi. Players have to be quick to slice the sushi, but not get caught by the bombs. Players earn money from catching fish. The more rare the fish the more money the player will earn. Players can use the money to upgrade their fishing equipment.

If Ninja Fishing sounds like an interesting game, head over to the Apple App store on August 4th and pick yourself up a copy.

Press Release Follows:

Gamenauts, explorers of the frontiers of fun, along with Menara Games, today announced their upcoming iOS game, Ninja Fishing. Combining the tilt and touch mechanics of iOS devices, Ninja Fishing promises to teach iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch wielders the ancient art of fishing and swordplay. Gamers can land a copy of Ninja Fishing from the iTunes App Store on August 4, 2011.

In Ninja Fishing, players step onto the fishing boat of Otoro, a fitness-challenged ninja with a mission to catch as much sushi as possible to fill his ninja tummy. Otoro tasks players with tilting the iOS device to move the hook around fish and underwater mines, getting as deep as possible. The minute the hook hits a fish, Otoro begins reeling in the line, requiring players to tilt the device with grace and skill to catch all fish in sight. Once the hook reaches the ocean surface, Otoro throws the fish in the air, leading to the ultimate test of sword skill: can players slice all the fish that were caught while avoiding the dynamite, ending their quest for Gold and sushi?

The rarer the fish and the more fish caught and sliced, the more Gold players earn to spend on upgrades to Otoro’s katana and hook as well as other fishing modifiers from the Shop. The most skilled ninjas will be able to post their high scores on the Game Center Leaderboards to assert their authority as a ninja master.

The game is an arcade space shooter where players have shoot the oncoming space ships with the same color bullets. For instance, if the ship is red it needs to be shot with a red bullet.

There are color squares at the bottom of the screen. The player can touch the color to change the color of the bullets. The game can get hectic when there are a lot of ships coming at the player. Players can earn power ups to help them out in sticky situations. The power ups can shoot multiple color bullets at the same time, which is nice to clear a lot of oncoming ships.

The game has five different game modes making it easy to find a mode that fits any play style.

If you like space shooter games, check out Chromanoids in the Apple App Store.

VANCOUVER – May 12, 2011

Hothead Games today announced the launch of their second iOS title, Chromanoids, in the App Store. This arcade shoot ‘em up puts you in charge of a last line of defense space fleet, tasked with saving Earth from the unforgiving enemy Chromanoid ships.

Chromanoids is a classic arcade-style space shooter, but with a colorful twist: players can only damage the oncoming ships with blasts of color that match that of the enemy. Mix and swap colors in the reservoir to make the perfect match and destroy the Chromanoid attackers.

Players have the choice to use in game Power Ups, such as Nukes, Fastshot and Instakill Blitz Bombs to progress through wave after wave of challenging space battles.

To keep you entertained throughout the missile launches and explosions the story that accompanies Chromanoids is a space fueled adventure inspired by anime and centered around themes of squad defection, peer respect and an out of this world love triangle!

“Ensign Cyan reporting for duty Sir! Sensors detect shielded Chromanoids coming our way!”

Chromanoids features:

Five different modes of gameplay:

o	Story Mode: You’re the last line of defense against the Chromanoids; your success affects the outcome.
o	Armada Mode: Be challenged with more and faster attackers.
o	Ultradrive Mode: The attacking ships speed up with each new wave, and your accuracy will affect the speed of your color missiles.
o	Depleted Mode: Blast power is diminished as you hit the enemies, but gain bonus points for targeting the ships with smaller and smaller shots.
o	Red-Shift Mode: Blast away! Just shoot the enemies down, without having to change colors.

Special power up items to obtain during play to help you on your mission

Game Center support with leaderboards for each game mode and local high scores

Purchase the full version of Chromanoids for $0.99 in the App Store or download the free version.
