AGD Interactive has announced the remake of King’s Quest III Redux for the PC and Mac. AGD Interactive was the same developer that remade the first two King’s Quest games, King’s Quest games, King’s Quest I: Quest for the Crown and King’s Quest II: Romancing the Stones.

The remake features enhanced game graphics including hand drawn backgrounds and character portraits. King Quest III also has voice acting from a former Sierra employee. This remake allows King’s Quest fans to play the old games on their newer computers without having to mess with things to get them to work. Now the games will work and look nice too.

If you are a King’s Quest fan, then be sure to check out King’s Quest III: Redux. The game will be available in February.

Neon Battle HD Comes to iPhone

Chillingo has announced that not only has the iPad version of Neon Battle HD been updated, but a new version for the iPhone and iPod Touch has been released, and will be a mere 99 cents this weekend.

New Hidden Object Game: The Secret Legacy – A Kate Brooks Adventure

Meridian4 has announced the release of The Secret Legacy – A Kate Brooks Adventure, a hidden object game for the PC. The game is exclusively available through Big Fish Games. The hidden object game tries to be different from other games in that genre by combining addictive puzzle play with a gripping mystery story line.

Kate’s grandmother has passed away and she has been tasked with cleaning out her Grandmother’s office. In the cleaning, Kate discovers that her grandmother may have been murdered over a hidden treasure. Players have to help Kate find clues to her grandmother’s murder, while uncovering the buried treasure. Kate will have to be careful in her search because she is not the only one looking for the hidden treasure.

Astraware Sudoku Now on Mac App Store

Astraware has announced the release of Astraware Sudoku on the Mac App Store. The game has been enhanced with new graphics for the Mac and a background that changes as the day goes by.

Astaware Sudoku contains a puzzle generator that is capable of generating billions of different puzzles at different levels. The game also contains hints if the player gets stuck and allows the players to make manual or automatic pencil marks. The pencil marks can help figure out how to solve the puzzle. Players have the ability to download the puzzle of the day, too. Each day there is a new puzzle to be downloaded at the difficulty the player wants.

Chainz Galaxy Now Available

MumboJumbo has announced the release of Chainz Galaxy for the PC, Mac and iPad. This game is the third game in the franchise. This version adds more power ups and an intriguing story line.

Chainz Galaxy takes a matching game that was already addictive and aims to make the game even more addictive. It will be hard to stop playing this version with more than eighty levels, eight power ups and thirty different bonus charms to collect. The game was already released on the Mac App Store and will be available this week at major game portals.

“We’ve given Chainz a facelift for 2011 and really moved the game mechanic forward in this edition,” said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo.  “If you’ve played the Chainz series, you know that it’s an addictive puzzler, but we really cranked up the volume in Chainz Galaxy.”
