PlayFirst has announced the release of Soap Opera Dash for the Mac and PC. DinerTown’s Rosie takes on the challenge of making a soap opera. Players have to become Rosie and produce their dream soap opera.

Players will have to set up sets, dress and accessorize actors and take care of fans and paparazzi in DinerTown’s universe. Of course, players start out at the bottom and have to produce their show in Rosie’s garage until they can afford to move up to Dinerwood studio. The studio will have all of the latest high tech gadgets. There are five different locations between the garage and Dinerwood and ten levels in each location.

PlayFirst is pleased to announce today the launch of Soap Opera Dash, for PC and Mac.

In the most dramatic DASH yet, DinerTown’s Rosie gets behind the scenes to produce her very own soap opera. It’s up to you to take the role of Rosie and take charge of producing your dream show! You’ll be setting up sets, dressing and accessorizing actors and taking care of fans and paparazzi in DinerTown’s universe; beginning with production in the improvised studio on Rosie’s garage and heading towards a big “Dinerwood” studio with the latest hi-tech gadgets for show production. Lights, camera, dash!

Soap Opera Dash, like other DASH games, sees players progressing through several levels of increasing difficulty while learning and mastering the different tasks that must be performed to produce a successful soap opera. You take on many roles, from casting actors (who happen to be your neighbors and friends!) to setting up the different props for each shot, getting actors to hair, makeup and wardrobe and delivering scripts as you take charge of production.

The player will go through five different locations, from an improvised garage studio to a large one located on the great “Dinerwood”; each one of these locations contains 10 levels making a total of 50 levels of dash fun.
