CubeHead: New Match Three Game

Fair Play Labs has announced the release of CubeHead for the iPhone/iPod Touch. CubeHead is a match three game where players need to match cubes in lines or columns of three or more. The faster the player makes the matches the more points they score.

Players help the cubies fight for their kingdom. Their old king CubeHead, who was once banished from the kingdom, is back to try to regain his throne. The cubies do not want the old king to return to his throne so they are fighting him and need all the help they can get. The players help the cubies by matching cubes.

Many match three type games require players to complete the level before time runs out, but in CubeHead players have to manage the clock and energy. Players only have a limited amount of energy to use through out the level. Players conserve their energy by only making moves that are needed. Players have to make moves that will result in matches or their energy will drain.

If you are looking for a different match three game for the iPhone/iPod Touch, check out CubeHead in the Apple App Store.

Flash Game: Fureyes Base Defense

Fureyes is a tower defense game written in flash. The goal of the game is to protect your base from the attacking fureyes. Fureyes are little fury creatures that attack your base. The base only has so much life and every time a fureye hits the base the bases loses some of its life. The game is over when the base loses all of its life.

The fureyes can destroy the towers as well, but the towers can be repaired. Each tower has a repair option and an upgrade option. The towers can only be dropped in certain places, which adds to the difficulty of the game. A tower can not be replaced by a new tower either. The tower can only be placed down if no other tower is in the designated spot. Towers can be sold to get them off the spot and a new tower can be put in its place.

Along with the towers there are magic spells and potions that can be used to defeat the fureyes. The spells can be upgraded along the way to affect different types of fureyes. The potions are made from ingredients that drop when the fureyes die. The player has to click on the ingredients to capture them. Potions can’t be created until all of the ingredients are captured.

Fureyes Base Defense is a fun and entertaining tower defense game. The different mechanics of the game keep the game a little different than other tower defense games. The game can get difficult, but it is always fun to have some challenge. If you are looking for a good tower defense game, check out Fureyes Base Defense.
