Merscom has announced the upcoming release of Drinking Buddies, a social drinking game released for Facebook. The game encourages friends to socialize with each other by sharing customized drinks. 
Friends can send each other customized drinks and personalized messages. The game is not all about drinking, though. Players have to balance alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks. The game strives for interaction between friends and gives users a way to meet knew friends on Facebook. The game features VIP drinks, holiday drinks and players can attain premium currency for enhanced game play.
Producer Dimitri Kirin explains that Drinking Buddies will give players a chance to unwind and have a good time with friends, “The experience I’m trying to portray with in-game artwork is that moment of both relaxation and excitement – the moment of that first, delicious drink that will lead to a relaxed conversation, a good joke, some juicy gossip, and time spent together that will help these drinking buddies get through the rest of their week.”

CHAPEL HILL, NC– December 17, 2009 – Merscom announced today that their social drinking game, Drinking Buddies, is set for release this week. Drinking Buddies, developed by ChaYoWo Games, will be published on Facebook and will encourage players to socialize with friends by sharing customizable drinks.
Drinking Buddies allows players to increase their popularity among friends by sending them custom made drinks and personalized messages. Players will be challenged to stay in a state of equilibrium by consuming both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.
