Play With Goo And Challenge Your Brain

Milkman Games has announced the release of Aqualux, an action puzzle game for the PC. Players are challenged to get the goo from one place to another by twisting, swapping and even teleporting the goo through colorful tubes. aqualux

Aqualux takes the concept of the slide puzzles and mixes it with building a network of pipes before time runs out. The slide puzzles are those games that contain a bunch of different squares that need to be slid around the board and arranged in a certain order. Some times the squares have numbers on them, which makes putting them in order easier and other times they are not numbered you have to figure out the picture and where the square goes. There are 100 different levels to complete with unlockable trophies and secret game modes.

“Portals, frozen pipes, twist-able pipes, and enchanted pipes ( that are rotated by flowing through special gates ) are added to the mix later on, adding new excitement and challenge to the game as players progress through the puzzles.” An online level builder allows creative users to construct their own levels, which are then available to everyone through the game’s Levels of the Day feature. “People who love tinkering with gadgets are having a great time building their own levels; and players keep coming back every day to fresh content, even after they’ve finished the campaign. We’re planning to integrate even deeper user-generated content features into social networks early next year,” says Liebert.

If you are into puzzle games with a bit of a twist, check out Aqualux.
