Garters & Ghouls is a shooter style game for the iPhone/iPod Touch. The goal of the game is to shoot the ghouls before they come attack you. Marie is sitting around on an average day when she is summoned to destroy the ghouls. From that point on, Marie’s life won’t be the same.

Players take on the role of Marie as she tries to banish the ghouls. The ghouls come out of portals on the screen and the player must shoot the ghouls before they come attack you. The ghouls head right for the player making it easy for players to take them out. Some of the ghouls will drop health items and other guns after they die.

The game theory is simple, shoot everything that moves. The control mechanisms the player has to shoot everything that moves are two joystick like controllers in each corner of the iPhone/iPod Touch. The right joystick shoots and controls the direction Marie shoots. The left joystick moves Marie around the screen and towards or away from the ghouls. The control mechanism takes a bit of time to get use to, but it is not as hard to get the hang of as other shooter games I have played.

The goal of most shooter games is the same, kill everything that moves, but some games add a story line and other games have easy controls. All those things go in to making a fun and interesting shooter style game. Garters and Ghouls is a good shooter style game, for people that enjoy shooter games.
