Amazed 3D is a puzzle/maze game for the iPhone/iPod Touch. The goal of the game is to get your ball from the start of the maze to the end of the maze in the least time possible. The quicker you reach the exit the more points you score. The points scored are based on how easy the maze is. The mazes get harder as the game progresses.

Players navigate the mazes by tilting the iPhone/iPod Touch. Tilt the device slightly and the ball rolls slowly. Tilt the device a lot and the ball flies across the area until it hits a wall and stops in its tracks. It is better, points wise, to move the ball at a medium pace. If the ball moves too fast it will go right over the break in the maze and cause the player to retrace their steps, which adds to the time it takes to solve the maze.

The mazes themselves start off fairly easy to get the player use to the control scheme and use to solving the mazes. After the first few mazes, the mazes have reached a level of slight challenge. It is still not overly difficult to get the ball from the beginning of the maze to the end of the maze until the player is a good way into the game. The longer the game progresses the more challenging the mazes become. The challenge levels progress at a good pace and give the player plenty of time to get use to the current difficulty before moving to the next challenge.

The mazes are all generated randomly so there is a good chance the player will have a different maze each time around even if they want to play a level again to try and get a better time on the level. There are 33 different difficulties of mazes, which means the maze a player is solving is different most of the time.  The mazes only challenge is getting the ball from the beginning to the end. Amazed doesn’t throw obstacles in your path to try and make up for an easier maze lay out. The maze itself is enough challenge.

The graphics in Amazed are 3D and look nice. Players have the option to change the skin on their mazes. If you don’t like the default, then change it to another skin of your liking.

Amazed is a great maze game and will keep you entertained for a while. It is a great game to pass the time and provides enough challenge to keep you coming back for more game play.
