Beakiez is a new casual game from one of the programmers that brought us Doom and Quake. He has since moved on to creating less gloom and doom games and more casual style games.
Beakiez is a match three type/marble popper game. The game uses bubbles instead of marbles, but it is the same principal, match the same color bubbles and they pop and go away. The bubbles are dangling from the top of the screen and the player has to shoot a bubble into the colored dangling bubbles to attempt to match the colors and cause the bubbles to pop and fade away.
The neat thing about Beakiez is the opportunity players get. The game is currently in alpha state right now, but if you buy it now for $9.95 you will get updates and the final build of the game. Paying for an alpha game will entitle you to provide feedback for the developers on what you would like to see in the game or a particular way you would like the game to work. They are even running a contest. The top five people that give the most constructive feedback will be listed in the credits as Assistant Producer.
This is a great opportunity for gamers that like to have an effect on the games. If you are interested in this opportunity, head over and try out and maybe ultimately purchase Beakiez.

FYI, I’m just the producer. Well over 95% of the work was done by Kevin Depue and Lucas Ellis.
Kevin, by the way, is dominating the high scores, and I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could knock him down a notch.
