Kaloki Adventures is a simulation game where players have to balance power resources, money resources and the happiness of the people visiting their space station all while completing the objectives for a level. Kaloki Adventures has a lot going on, but it is a fun game for the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Each level has a set of goals for the space station. The main goal is to save the princess, but to complete the main goal there are intermediate goals for each level. Many of the goals involve players having to build certain objects on the space station in a certain amount of time. To build the required objects takes money and power. Players have to figure out the right balance and order to create the items or they will find themselves stuck with no money or no power and having to retry the level.

The goals are found by touching the gold cup on the screen. In fact, all of the meters are present on the screen, which gives players an easy way to monitor their money, power and the happiness of their visitors. There are four items that the visitors want. Each item is represented by a meter on the side of the screen. If the meter is red, the people are unhappy and players need to build the item the visitors are asking for. In the early levels, players only have to worry about two structures visitors want, but in the later levels players will have to manage all four structures.

Kaloki Adventures is controlled using the touch screen on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Players touch an area on the space station and it will bring up a menu. The menu contains items that can be built. In the beginning there are only one tier of items that players are able to build, but as the players build the items more items become available. In the later levels, the game becomes challenging to build all of the allotted structures before time runs out. Many times the structures that need to be built are the last tier of structures.

Kaloki Adventures is a challenging, but fun game. The game contains the right amount of challenge, enough challenge to make the game interesting and fun, but not too much challenge that the player gets frustrated and throws the iPhone/iPod Touch. Each level keeps players entertained and interested in the game. The story line adds a nice addition to the game. There are not too many iPhone/iPod Touch games that contain a good story line, but this one does. If you are into simulation games, definitely check out Kaloki Adventures.
