Players gain points by spinning records. There is a paddle that rotates along the outside of the record and players have to collect dots as they fly from the center of the record. Galactica Review

Galactica is not so much a game for the iPhone/iPod Touch as it is a relaxing application. Players have the ability to cause all types of neat and colorful particle explosions with the touch of their finger. galactica

The biggest feature that makes the game so relaxing is the fact that you do not need to think about anything. There is no strategy involved just explosions caused by touching and flicking the screen. The music plays into the relaxing atmosphere too. Players just have to sit back, relax and enjoy the music and the colorful explosions on the screen.

Anybody can tell the application was specifically designed for the iPhone/iPod Touch, since everything happens by touching or tapping the screen. Double tapping causes explosion to errupt and single tapping and flicking causes the particles to fly across the screen leaving a colorful trail.

Galactica is a great app for the times you are waiting for something and you are tired and don’t feel like using your brain and thinking about things. Pull out this app relax and pass the time while waiting. It is also a great app to just sit and relax for a few minutes during the day. Some days can be very hectic and it is nice to have something to turn to to just relax for a bit and forget the craziness.

If you are looking for a nice relaxing app for your iPhone/iPod Touch, head over to the Apple App Store and check out Galactica.
