Casebook: Episode II: The Watcher, for the PC, is a Detective themed puzzle game from Clock Tower Games. Someone at Skylark apartments has fallen to his death. Was it an accident, or was he pushed? You and your partner must figure that out in part two of the Casebook series. At each crime scene you talk to a number of potential suspects, use your camera to photograph the evidence, and play a number of different forensic themed mini games to learn all you can from your clues.

If you are familiar with the first game, rest assured, this addition has the same impressive movie-style interface. The Casebook games use cut scenes filmed with live actors, and photo realistic images of the crime scene to help bring a certain sense of realism to the game. The acting is top notch, and you will soon get swept into investigating the creepy Skylark apartments and questioning the host of oddball characters that reside there.

The game boasts 4 unique crime scenes and a new mini-game not seen in the last episode. The mystery also seems meatier this time around, and the suspects are well rounded, and stand out better in this episode. Casebook II is fairly large for a casual game, however, and it is recommended that you have at least 1.6 gigs of hard drive space free.
