Casual gamers are licking their lips for the latest Bejeweled Twist release from Popcap Games. As an early holiday gift, casualgamerchick.com will be giving away two copies of Bejeweled Twist courtesy of Popcap.
In true casual fashion we’re going to make it easy for you to enter our little casual game contest. Simply comment to this article answering this question:
“What is your favorite component of a casual game: game play, art, music, graphics, price and why?”
Although every component of a game makes the final product, many casual gamers have a soft spot for one big element of a game. The sounds of Peggle brought the game play excitement to a heightened level while the graphics of a game build an immersion and the art direction tells a story.
What’s your favorite part?
The contest will end on Friday November 14th giving the winner the entire weekend and beyond to play Bejeweled Twist by Popcap Games.

I would vote for game play when it comes to selecting a game. I generally judge a great game by how much it has me immersed (basically I should forget about looking at the clock and calculating the time spent on playing a game)…, and only a game with a good game play can offer that.
I have played plenty of game trials online before purchase, and I have always selected games with unique and intuitive game play rather than graphics or sound or price.

I am a sucker for game play. If a game sounds pretty and looks pretty that’s great, but if the game itself doesn’t suck me in, there is no point in playing it.
I have to go with game play on this one as with poor game play, you don’t have a good game. Any game can be decent without impressive art, music, graphics.
Price is also a factor I consider. I’m not going to pay £20 for a game that I might only pay for an hour.
I’m ineligible to play (and I already have a copy), but I’ll pipe in: time. I like casual games because you can pop in, pop out with 10-15 minute sessions. No fuss, no muss.

Definitely game play. Bejeweled is so addictive!
It’s a great game I can play for hours and days and never get bored. I get my money’s worth.
Also graphics does play a a big part too. I’ve seen a lot of wanna-be Bejeweled game where the graphics really suck and it makes me not want to play them. They are fuzzy, too small, or just just really odd shapes making it harder and less comfortable to play.
Exciting to hear that there’s a new one coming out.
Game Play is most important. The first time I played Bejeweled I completely lost track of time and didn’t want to stop playing. I personally don’t listen to the music of most arcade games I put my own music on. I think graphics do play a part in how great a game is but the selling point is, “Do I enjoy playing it?”

Game play and graphics. If I enjoy playing it I need to enjoy looking at it. I have deleted many games with the same play theme but the graphics were horrible.
Thanks for the win!! Can’t wait to download the game and play!
