Puzzle Cup World Soccer is a game written in flash and is available at Goal Maniac website. Reminiscent of games like Puzzle Bobble, Puzzle Cup World Soccer has you kicking and clearing soccer balls instead of bubbles and blocks.

Players start out by choosing one of sixteen different teams to play on, including Italy, Netherlands, France, USA, and England. This doesn’t seem to have any real affect on the game other then your avatar gets to wear that teams uniform. The game itself is very straight forward. You play “matches” against the other teams where your avatar must eliminate slowly advancing rows of colored soccer balls. The soccer balls are cleared by kicking soccer balls into them and matching up rows of three or more like colored balls.

Puzzle Soccer World Cup offers a few power ups to help players some of the power ups allow users to change the colors of the soccer balls that it hits, and a bomb power up that will wipe out any balls it comes in contact with, as well.

The graphics for Puzzle Soccer World Cup are cute and cartoonish. The sound effects are a little loud, but the crowd cheering on when you clear a large row of soccer balls is addictive. The crowd even turns on you when you lose, issuing a round of boos and jeers instead. Not that real soccer crowds EVER get rowdy, mind you.
