PopCap Games and Astraware have teamed up to bring Insaniquarium Deluxe to Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices. Insaniquarium Deluxe is different from Astraware’s previously released Insaniquarium and the key for Insaniquarium will not work for Insaniquarium Deluxe.

Insaniquarium Deluxe is an aquarium simulation game where players take care of fish and keep them happy. In return for their happiness, the fish drop gems and coins for their caretakers. The money can be used to upgrade the tank or buy different species of eggs to raise in your tank. On top of having to take care of the fish, players need to take care of the invading aliens that wreak havoc on the fish tank.

Insaniquarium offers three different play modes for all types of casual gamers and is available from Astraware. The game sounds like it offers an interesting spin to taking care of fish in a fish tank. For some people taking care of virtual fish may be more appealing than taking care of real fish.

Insaniquarium Deluxe includes 3 fun ways to play:
Adventure – keep your fish healthy and protect them from aliens through 4 fun aquarium stages each with multiple levels of mayhem;
Time Trial – feed your fish and fight off the alien invaders to make as much money as possible against the clock. A new time trial is unlocked as you complete each stage in Adventure
Challenge – once you’ve mastered Adventure, face the ultimate challenge as you feed your fish and try to protect them from ever increasing alien attacks. The challenge ends when the last fish is zapped!
