RealNetworks announced they will release three games for the PC and Mac on the Nintendo DS and Wii. The release marks a milestone because it is the first time RealNetworks will release one of their hit PC games for the Nintendo Wii, Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor. Sally’s Salon and Tropix will be released for the Nintendo DS.
Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor is a hidden object game and makes the second hidden object game to come to the Nintendo Wii. Players have to find the hidden objects and then return the objects to the right places and solve the puzzles.
Sally’s Salon is a time management game where players have to help Sally become the best hairdresser around. Sally has to hire new employees and manage all types of customers on her way to success. New for the Nintendo DS, Real has added mini-games.
Tropix is a bunch of different games contained in one game. Fans of puzzles, adventure, card games, word games and Sudoku will like Tropix. The Ninendo DS version of Tropix allows players to compete against each other over the wireless network.
It is great to see some more casual games coming to the Nintendo DS and Wii. The games coming to the Nintendo devices are very fitting. The control schemes on the Wii and the DS are a good fit for the games that are on their way. The Nintendo Wii and DS add another avenue to spread great casual games.
