WANTED is a film that was just released by Universal Pictures that tells the story of an ordinary office worker that has been picked to become a member of an assassin guild. Stillfront AB has turned the movie Wanted into a web-based Massive Multi-player Online (MMO) game, Wanted Fan Immersion Game (FIG). The themes of the movie have been kept the same and the game is free to play. Wanted Fan Immersion Game

Players start out as an assassin in training and build their character into a ruthless killer as the Fraternity leader of the assassin’s guild. The game is quest based and leads players on adventures of killing that will take strategy to complete.

Wanted FIG utilizes micro-transactions to upgrade your weapons and ammunition, gain healing abilities, and fortify your fraternity. As with any Web 2.0 game, the game includes social networking aspects. Players have the opportunity to recruit others into their fraternity, assign hits on other players and team up to take out rival targets.

“The concept of different fraternities of assassins lends itself perfectly to the design of a casual MMOG, and the unique objects ingrained in the property — from ancient weapons to intricately woven hit orders — are well-suited for a microtransaction model. The Wanted FIG provides an addictive game play experience for fans while generating online brand awareness leading up to the film release, and well beyond.”

If Wanted FIG sounds like a game you would enjoy, head over to The Wanted Game.
