IWON announced a new chat and profile feature. The chat feature allows players to chat while playing games and the profile feature allows players to create a personalized page.

The chat feature has been enabled in over 100 of the games on IWON. Players can chat with up to fifty other players. Players can use the chat window to ask for tips on games, give advise, challenge other players or just simply brag about how great they are at the game.

The profile feature allows users to create pages all about themselves. The profile page can contain an icon designed by or for the player, quick links to their favorite games and game records.

“We see community based interactivity as the natural evolution of casual gaming,” said Tim Allen, vice president of portal product management for IAC Consumer Applications & Portals Inc, operators of IWON.com. “With chat and profiles, we are enabling IWON casual gamers to build a community where they can interact with one another.”
