Fyrebug: Play 10,000 User Created Games

Fyrebug Inc has announced that their site Fyrebug.com has entered online beta. Fyrebug.com contains more than 10,000 casual games that have been created by other users on Fyrbug.com.

FyrebugFyrebug.com is a game creation option for non-programmers. Users have the option to create classic action, arcade, fighting, puzzle, shooting, word and other favorite game types using templates. The templates are customizable and allow users to put their own creative spin on the game. Game creators can customize such things as graphics, sounds, introduction animation, achievements and scoring systems. Game creators can embed the games on their web sites or host them on Fyrebug.

“With Fyrebug, any gamer with a creative idea can become a programmer in minutes,” said Jonathan Widro, who founded the company along with partner Rob Kamphausen. “The response in the four short months since our Alpha launch has been very exciting, with a vibrant community of game developers of various skill levels coming together to create thousands of fun, fresh games that each have a unique and personal twist.”
