Flash Game: Pinch Hitter

Pinch Hitter is a neat flash sports game. The point of the game is to hit the baseball and rack up as many points as possible before getting three outs. The rules are the same as baseball, hit the ball as it is coming over the plate, if you miss it is a strike, three strikes and you are out.

Strikes aren’t the only problem for the batters. There are outfielders in the field, as well, and they will catch your ball if it is hit in the air in their area. The batter is out if the ball is caught. Three outs and the game is over.

The pitches are all different and the player can move close to the plate or away from the plate by moving the mouse. The batter swings when the mouse is clicked. The batter definitely has to account for timing. It takes a time to swing the bat. If you click too late, the batter will miss the ball. In this regard it is very similar to real baseball.
