Gamenode has a neat little game involving dirt bikes, stunts and high flying madness all wrapped up in a little free flash game. FMX Team is somewhat like 4 Wheel Madness, a monster truck driving game using similar ‘balance’ techniques for handling your vehicle.
You’re goal is to complete the track with an acceptable number of points from stunts performed by hitting 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 keys on your keyboard (stunts are dependent on the bike you’re using). Unlike 4 Wheel Madness, I found the title a bit easier to play with much less crashing involve.
Since FMX Team is based on a point level, you can’t just glide your way through the track, you must take risks to get points and make it to the next level. Once you’ve made it to the next level you’re able to retry that level until you pass it, which is a great design–nobody wants to get stuck restarting the entire game because of a bad jump.
The game does increase in difficulty, with a few short tracks requiring awesome leaps and bound with tricks performed the entire way. You’ll find yourself perfecting your technique in order to score enough point to get through some of the tracks.
I found myself zoning out and playing FMX Team while forgetting everything around me, high entertainment value. The graphics are great for the platform, the sounds fit the theme–an overall great flash game experience.
