Flash Game: Micro Olympics

Micro Olympics is a flash based trajectory game that is simple in concept, but very addicting. The goal of the game is to shoot you airplane out of a cannon and get further than the allotted distance. Players have three tries to make the required distance.

The distance changes with each level and starts out easily attainable, but quickly jumps in difficulty. Players travel in a little plane that is shot out of a cannon. There is a meter in the bottom part of the screen that contains an arrow for the direction you shoot and the power for how hard you shoot out of the cannon. Both the arrow and the power are moving. Players click the left mouse button to stop the movement. The beginning levels move the arrow and power meter at a slow rate and as the level increases so does the rate of movement. It becomes challenging to stop the arrow and power meter at the most optimal spot.

Each time you shoot out of the cannon you get money. The amount of money differs with each shot. The money can be spent to buy power ups. The power ups help you get further. Some of the power ups include skis that help you hit the water and bounce up again, thrust that lets you thrust back into the air and more gun powder which adds to your power.

Micro Olympics is extremely easy to play, but extremely addicting as well. I kept playing and playing trying to get the perfect mix between power ups and the right direction and thrust. If you are looking for a challenging, but entertaining game, check out Micro Olympics.
