Crickler is a great flash based game similar to a crossword puzzle. Players have to answer clues to determine the correct word to place in the boxes. Some boxes are linked together and when a letter is placed in the linked box is shows up in other boxes as well. The word is correct when it turns blue.crickler

There is a new crickler puzzle each day and the clues are all random. Some of the clues have to do with current events, such as the robot that just landed on Mars. Other clues deal with parliaments from other countries and long ago mammals.

As the player solve clues, they get letters for other clues, much like crossword puzzles. There is also a hint a minute. There is an owl at the top of the screen that will give you a hint every minute. The hint is usually the letter that goes in the box.

If you like crossword puzzles, you should check out crickler.
