Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 3 is a flash based guitar simulation game. The object of the game is to press the correct arrow keys and number keys at the correct time as they fly past the screen. The songs are in order of difficulty with the simple songs first and the tougher songs as you progress down the list.

Even the simple songs have some tricky parts. Both simple songs have sections that require players to press arrow keys in rapid succession to hit all of the “notes”. The arrow keys are the main part of the game, but when players need to hold notes down the number keys come into play, which requires players to use both hands.

Players start out with seven songs to play and attempt to master. If players can master the first seven songs, they are able to unlock seven more songs. Players need to score points to unlock the locked songs. Each song in the unlock list takes more points to unlock than the previous one.
