The Tuttles Madcap Misadventure is an adventure game for the PC developed by Legacy Interactive. The Tuttles Madcap Misadventure is a bit different from other adventure games and contains a star studded cast. The voices in the game are provided by William Shatner, Bob Saget, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ashley Tisdale, Dominic Scott Kay, Dave Thomas and Dave Coulier. Not to mention, 75% of every purchase goes to the Starlight Foundation to help seriously ill children.
The Tuttles Madcap Misadvnture follows a misfit family as they try to take a vacation to the Alamo. The father, whose voice is done by Bob Saget, is a tinkerer and loves to invent gadgets. He has decided to fix up the family caravan for the trip. The caravan has been turned into a flying machine, but it doesn’t work all that well. The family encounters many issues on their way to the Alamo.
The Tuttles have two children, a son that doesn’t mind being on vacation with the family and a teenage daughter who would prefer death over a family vacation. Players choose a character they would like to play when the game begins, but you end up playing all of the characters at different stages of the game. Each stage, which is defined by a few different levels in one place, is played by a single character. Players will also control the caravan in a few different places, mainly when moving areas.
The game play is simple in concept, but not in practice. Players have to make it from the beginning of the level to the end of the level without dying. If you die, you start from the last save point or the beginning of the game if you have not hit a save point. Players can use the arrow keys or the mouse to move. The up arrow or right mouse click jumps. Players will have to jump from platform to platform or jump to avoid enemies.
There are gems and other objects of interest for each character. For instances, the boy child will have baseball caps, portable gaming devices and other such objects to get. Each gem and object you get adds to the overall score for that level. The higher your score the better you do on that level. There are also secrets to be found on some of the levels. Players are not told the secrets exist, but there is a category for secrets found on the ending level screen.
The graphics in The Tuttles Madcap Misadventure look amazing. The water levels are clear blue water that looks like real water, with bright underwater fish, realistic looking jelly fish and other underwater sea creatures. The land graphics are just as good. There is a desert level that contains scorpions and other bugs that look very realistic.
The sound is also great and the celebrity voices are a nice touch. The dialog is intriguing and funny at times. They do a great job of portraying a “typical” family with a teenage child going on a family vacation. You feel like you are part of the adventure and can definitely relate if you have ever taken a family vacation.
The Tuttles Madcap Misadventure is a fun adventure game that is worth the $19.99 and you get to help seriously ill children at the same time. If you like adventure platformer games, you can’t go wrong with The Tuttles Madcap Misadventure.

Great review, I could not agree more! Definitely worth the $19.99.
