ZooKazooZooKazoo is a cartoon flash based site that targets children in the age range of 6 to 12. ZooKazoo has a slightly different way of monetizing the site. Players can play the games for free and as they are playing they are earning Kazoobits, the online currency, but players can not spend the currency unless they pay the $5.95 / month fee to become a member. Players can spend the Kazoobits to decorate their characters rooms. It will be interesting to see if that is enough motivation to get children to bug their parents to pay a monthly fee.

Children log into ZooKazoo and are able to pick an animal for their avatar. After selecting an avatar, players are able to choose different mini-games to play.  The mini-games have players floating down a river avoiding trees or climbing trees and eating leaves.

Given the fact that ZooKazoo is a site aimed at children, they have put some safety measures in place. Children can send outgoing messages to parents, but can not be contacted by people on the outside. There are no private chats between avatars and children are not allowed to use swear words.  If they swear they are given warnings and if they continue to use those words they will be kicked off the site.
