USA Networks Looking for Advertisers

USA Networks has decided to rebrand their casual games web site. The web site use to be called Character Game Lounge and has been changed to Character Arcade. USA has also added twenty new games to the web site including Black Jack and a Black Jack card counting training game. The card counting game seems a bit risky, but I am sure it will get a lot of use. character arcade

Along with the new site comes a new pitch to the advertisers. USA is offering regular ad banner space as well as site sponsorship, product integration and custom game development. The advertisement on the web site is coupled with advertisement on the USA TV station. USA’s gaming site has attracted 30 million unique visitors a month. Seems any advertiser would like that many views in a months time.

“Character Arcade has succeeded beyond our expectations in such a short time,” said McCumber. “With this additional content and features, we expect to be a Top 25 casual gaming site by July. The site will be coveted by advertisers who want to reach a targeted and engaged demographic.”

Other changes to the USA gaming site include social networking additions. Players can create personal profiles, make friends with other players, track the “elite” players and challenge other players. Social networks have become very alluring to players so it makes sense that USA would add this feature to their site.
