Astraware and PopCap have released a major update to Bejeweled 2 for mobile devices. A piece of the major update was updating the size of the screen Bejeweled 2 will run on. Bejeweled 2 will now run at a resolution of 240 x 240 on Windows Mobile devices, such as Palm Treo smartphones. The graphics have also been updated to work at a resolution of 320 x 320 on Windows Mobile Professional and Classic devices, such as Samsung’s SGH-i780 smartphone.

Astraware has brought Bejeweled 2 up to date and Bejeweled 2 fits into Astraware’s current game framework. Bejeweled 2 can be controlled using the 5-way control method or a stylus.

The Bejeweled 2 update is a free update for registered users.
