The Islands that house all of the animals have dried up and can not support animal life without water. There is one little panda left that cracked the code and figured out how to produce rain. The problem is the rain cloud just appears where ever it feels like and not over the plants that were just planted. Your job is to get the rain from the rain cloud to the newly planted seeds. The seeds need water to grow and restore vegetation on the islands in Nanda’s Island.
Nanda’s Island is a unique puzzle game. The object of the game is to get the water drops to the seeds to help the seeds grow. The water drops are guided to the plants by lines the player draws on the screen. The player has to use logic and a well drawn/placed line to get the little water balls to the seeds. The water balls follow the drawn lines precisely, so if you are not good at drawing straight lines with a mouse, the levels can be a bit challenging, but not frustrating. The level is complete when a water meter under the planted seed is full. If enough water does not make it to the seed, then you have to replay the level.
The levels progress nicely becoming a bit harder each time. The challenges to the levels come with getting the water drops over obstacles on the board. Some obstacles, usually rocks, are slanted so you need to be careful where you draw your line. There were a few times I drew a line and the line left a little gully for water to collect in or didn’t fully get the water drops over the slant. The other challenge is the fact that you only have ten seconds to figure out where you are going to place your lines to get the water drops to the seeds. The cloud starts raining when the ten seconds are over.
The player collects coins as they complete levels. You can use the coins to buy animals to place on the islands to make the island more lively. There are a few different animals to choose from and they make nice animal sounds when you purchase them.
The graphics in Nanda’s Island are quite nice. The levels have an Asian feel to them and the flowers are beautiful when they bloom. The rain drops are little blue balls, but really resemble water when they collect together.
Nanda’s Island is a highly addictive puzzle game. I really enjoyed trying to find the best place to draw the line and get the water drops to the seeds. Unfortunately, a few levels took a while to complete because I am not all that good at drawing straight lines with a track ball, but even with that small hindrance I still enjoyed Nanda’s Island. Another fact I liked about the game is it is completely different from other puzzle games.

I really love this game. The look of Nanda is really cute and with his big beautyful eyes he really catched me. The gameplay is callenging - never too difficult, but also not too easy. The graphics were nice and colourfull - just the way I like. Sometimes i thought I know the style, but I couldn´t rember from which game. Any Idea?
