Move over Google here comes another in-game advertiser. AdsNGames is out of Amsterdam and they are developing a model that sounds very similar to Google’s in-game advertising. There are three parties involved in AdsNGames: game developers, the publishers and the advertisers.AdsNGames

The advertisers and media buyers can select the game they would like their ads to appear in. They can choose from high traffic, read popular, casual games with the audience they would like to target.

Publishers and site owners are enticed to host the games that are part of AdsNGames by having AdsNGames promote your site and send traffic your way. Site owners will also earn money off of the in-game advertisements. AdsNGames didn’t say how the site owner earned money in the news story.

Game developers can sign up the games they wish to have in-game advertising in. The game developers use the AdsNGames API to add the advertisements to the game. The developer will also get money from the ads that appear in their games.

Sounds like companies are trying to move casual gaming to adopt in-game advertising. It may make sense for some games, if the customers are willing to play games with advertising in them.
