Feyruna - Fairy Forest is an interesting game about dark verses light. The darkness has over taken the forest and you have to bring the light back. You need to get rid of the darkness in all of the forests. Feyruna fairy forest
To get rid of the darkness you collect the glowing fairies. All you have to do is run into the glowies to catch them. The first few levels it is really easy to catch the glowies. The glowies flow in a pattern and you can easily catch them. As the levels progress its gets more difficult to catch the glowies.

After the first few levels, Feyruna - Fairy Forest introduces the dark creatures. If the dark creatures hit you, the dark meter increases. The object is to keep the dark meter down and complete the light meter before the dark meter is complete. If the dark meter becomes full, you die.

The dark creatures will also eat the glowies. In the beginning levels it is not a big deal because nothing happens when they eat the glowies. As you progress, though, the dark meter increases as they eat the glowies. The glowies also become harder to catch. There are new glowies that do not flow in patterns.

screenshot from casual game Feyruna Fairy forest The glowies become harder to capture, but you get spells to help you combat the dark creatures. One of the spells is a lighting shield. A bunch of little lightening balls spin around you and protect you from the dark creatures flying by. If a lightening ball hits a dark creature, it dies.

The graphics in the game are good. The landscapes are very pretty, but some of the dark creatures are cartoonish. The bats look more like cartoon creatures than real life bats. You can tell they are bats though.

Feyruna - Fairy Forest is a good game to play if you have just a few minutes to waste at lunch time or before moving on to your next task. The levels are fairly short and do not take too much time to complete. Feyruna - Fairy Forest is a fun game with an interesting concept of light verses dark.
