The marketing machine that is Microsoft has decided to get serious with their family gaming concept and bring us a more enjoyable console…with colorful controllers? Well, Japan will be receiving a cool blue controller and we, in the US, will get a pink controller. For non-casual gamers, you may enjoy the (ugly) brown Xbox 360 which is supposed to represent Halo 3 I guess.

Will a pink controller attract more family gaming? Or is it just a marketing play to try to boost sales of their accessories? The pink Nintendo DS has been a hit with the kids but that is a bit more than a simple controller.

Pink is the new white, apparently.
